2013 Secret Dinner

 
On Dec 10th, 50 residents took part in the Secret Dinner; told only to meet at HutK, and await travel instruction.  Guests discovered champagne service, some 'enjoyed' an elevator trip of a lifetime, and all shared in a spectacular dinner.  [click for full story]

About 65 residents and guests enjoyed a beautiful Sunday evening on September 15th.  Hosted by David Connors and Sharon MacDonald on the podium between the two Excelsior towers, the participants enjoyed great food and entertainment.

R:ED Event - First Fridays in Exchange

 
Our May event was a First Fridays in the Exchange event.  We met at Fox & Fiddle for dinner and/or beverages, then with First Friday programs in hand, we ventured out to various galleries and artist studios.  The evening ended with an "art discussion" at Kings Head!

Dinner at Jane's and Tour of PGI

 
57 R:ED members filled the beautiful Jane's Restaurant in the new Patterson Globalfoods Institute (PGI) of Red River College.  Following a delicious meal, prepared & served by students, we had a tour of the amazing facility.

R:ED Event: A Night in Argentina

 
On March 19, we filled Corrientes Argentine Pizzeria, and enjoyed an Argentine themed dinner matched with wines from the same region, a talk by Gonzalo Agrimbau about Argentine culture and live Agentine guitar music.

R:ED Event: Spaghetti Skate

 
On Monday February 11th we held a skating party at the Forks, taking advantage of the beautiful river trail along the frozen Red.  After working up a hunger, we dined at the Old Spaghetti Factory.

R:ED Meeting: Movies in the Exchange

 
On January 22, 2013, we held a meeting in the ultra comfortable Brick's Fine Furniture, and listened as two Location Managers, Cathie Edgar and Michael Cowless described the process of selecting locations (including Exchange condos) for movie shoots, the paperwork, approvals and ultimately the shoot.
