R:ED Event - How to Make "Mad Men" Inspired Cocktails

Our November event will be about the iconic cocktails of the 70's and will be hosted at the Exchange Bartending School.  The owner, Brandon White, is the consummate bartender and will have you excited about mixing cocktails.

This is a "hands-on" event, so we will watch and learn, then break into groups of two and mix our own cocktails behind the bar!

The evening will start with a French 75 reception cocktail.  Brandon will talk about his bartending school, then demonstrate the art of pouring and muddling the Mad Men favourite: an Old Fashioned.  Next, after instruction, we try our hand at making our own Classic Martini.  Our final cocktail will be your choice: a Negroni (gin) or a Boulevardier (Bourbon).

There will be plenty of time to ask questions, mingle and sip. 

** Mad Men inspired clothing is encouraged - we will have a door prize for the best dressed!  Smoking not required. **
